SouthRoads is on the hunt for a Contract Manager to lead our Construction Siteworks crew in Southland, taking charge of highway construction and rehabilitation projects across the region. Forget the piece of paper we care about what you know and how fast you can get stuck in.

About The role
You'll be running the show on highway and rehab work, including:
- Highway construction and road rehabilitation
- Applying NZTA specs, Southland District Council (SDC) and Invercargill City Council (ICC) requirements
- Coordinating labour, plant and subcontractors
- Controlling onsite quality and health and safety
- Keeping budgets on track
- Making sure everyone gets home safe, every day
About you
- Real, hands-on roading experience, highway/rehab work is your bread and butter
- A solid grip on NZTA specs and local government requirements
- Leadership that people actually want to follow
- The get-up-and-go to hit the ground running from day one
